Did 30/30/30 reset, set static IP, connected by cable to LAN port (should it be WAN port?). Going crazy trying to think what I'm doing wrong.
#UPDATE FOR DD WRT V24 SP2 UPGRADE#
Just bricked(?) my THIRD router trying to upgrade firmware to dd-wrt. But please take care - everybody can edit the information there so we cannot. In the meantime there is the Supported Device List in the DD-WRT wiki that provides you most of these information. For those looking for a complete list or search features by hardware specs we are working on extending the router database to provide these features. Now, using the vxworksprepgsv03.bin file results in a 'success' message, but I am scred to deviate from the instructions on the wiki, and use the cfe.bin, or the generic DD-WRT Micro image. My router is stuck in management mode, and using the My54gsImage.bin as directed results in an 'upgrade failed' message.

Inadyn -background -dyndns_system -u -p password -a host -update_period_sec 600 -forced_update_period 864000 -log_file /tmp/ddns/ddns. I use this procedure on my Asus rt-n16 with 16 with build 16994 and finally my no-ip account now is update.

No update required.įri May 20 07:37:07 2011: I:INADYN: IP address for alias '' needs update to 'xx.' Rebooted and still get the log below referencing 'xx.xxx.226.63'. I then tried manually updating ddns from the website at. It appears to remembering the addr 'xx.xxx.226.63'. No matter how many times I reboot and pick up new ip addr's, I still get the note below. I still receive the note below (but obviously a different new IP address and dates). I then tried deleteing the contents of the two cache files and the log but leaving the files there and rebooted the router. I would then see the note below in the ddns.log file. I then did the following:ĭeleted ddns.log, inadyn_ip.cache and inadyn_time.cache, then rebooted the router to pick up a new IP Addr. I had the ip addr stored in cache as xx.xxx.226.63.
